At Canterbury Road, Handcrafted, our philosophy is based on repurposing and reusing almost any unwanted timber, from discarded shipping crates & abandoned pallets to charismatic, lichen covered Totara fencing & beautifully aged Rimu from the bones of an old home. Our purpose is to use reclaimed wood that has developed character over the years bringing warmth and texture to your home or business allowing each piece to find a second life.

Canterbury Road is a true reflection of what Dean & Haley like and believe in. They both love the individual characteristics of each piece of timber that they come across, appreciating where it has come from, what it was used for and look forward to see where it may end up. They have that innate want to see an unloved piece of timber/wood turn into a piece of furniture that finds its way into a home or business. Canterbury Road is held up on a foundation made of Deans love of traditional design who steers towards pieces with a colonial country, authentic feel and Haleys contemporary, edgy eye for detail that compliments Deans aesthetic. Together they collaborate on each piece they create, bringing together their skills, ideas and talents to make items that they are both proud of.
